Use School Buses For All Activites

tpsteacher writes "During my time coaching the JV Softball team at my high school, we took a chartered bus to our away games. Yes, you read that right, a charted bus. The bus came out of Findlay and from what I was told cost about 800 dollars a trip. That being my first year, I thought it was a little out of the ordinary, but never really thought that much about it. Now that I have some time in at my school I realize what an unbelievable waste of money this was. These are JUNIOR VARSITY SOFTBALL GAMES we are talking about. The reasoning I got was there were no yellow buses available at the time to take us. It then became obvious to me how well TPS spends its money, and how much is wasted. Just thought I would mention this as an obvious savings...USE YELLOW BUSES!, that's what they are for."
