Eliminate 2 cabinet positions and hire 2 development directors

I presented this idea a while ago. It is a take off of what the colleges do.
Set a goal of creating 5 endowed teaching positions and other sponsored positions. The district could even do smaller teaching chairs or have specific named teachers. The reward of the sponsor will be their name will be associated with the award for the life of the award. The development director's responsibilities will be locating donors and sponsors for these positions.
It will take 2 million to sponsor an endowed teaching position, so the initial goal of the district will be to find sponsors for 5 chairs or 10 million dollars. The creation of these 5 endowed teaching positions will save the district $400,000 a year because you could move the salaries of teachers to the endowment fund. Of course the development directors would try to seek more and different options, but I think you could realistically get companies to sponsor 5 endowed chairs.
Development directors would also seek donors for facilities improvement, professional development, infrastructure improvement, and scholarship opportunity for students.
Endowed scholarships would require donations of $25,000.
